Our made from scratch authentic artisan gelato and sorbets are crafted in our in our commercial kitchen in McLeansville, NC. Many of our ingredients are imported from Italy in order to assure the same experience for our customers as they would if they were sitting in a gelateria in Rome.  Every batch of our gelato begins with our specially formulated fior de latte or “flower of the milk,” which is a perfectly balanced low-fat gelato base.  From there, flavors like Bacio which means “kiss” and originated in the Perugia region of Italy and consists of chopped hazelnuts, or the true Italian Amarena Cherry flavors are carefully created batch by batch.  In addition to gelato, Matt’s Gelato produces the very best Italian sorbets which offers clients the option for refreshing non-dairy flavors with zero fat.  Clients can enjoy strawberry, raspberry, lemon, mango or other fruit sorbets.
